Surrey Food Festival is an event run by members of the local community FOR the local community, so we like to choose a different charity with local connections each year to support. This year we're raising funds for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, based in Hampton.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices supports life-limited babies, children and young people across Surrey and London, and their families. They offer support at every stage, from diagnosis to end-of-life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
Christopher’s, their Guildford hospice, provides short breaks and end-of-life care nights, while their Hospice at Home service supports families across the county with care visits.
To raise funds, we will be holding a raffle on both days of the festival with collection boxes throughout the site. All of our stall holders have kindly donated a prize, and tickets will be on sale on the day. So please please get involved and give generously! Only 10% of their funding comes from the government, so they rely on the support and generosity of the public to keep their vital services going.
The raffle draw will be made at 4pm on each day of the festival.
