Every year, The Surrey Food Festival selects a charity to receive money raised through a raffle
The 2019 festival will be supporting Shooting Star Children’s Hospices
Each food/drink and market stall trader at the 2019 Surrey Food Festival will be kindly donating a raffle prize with a value of over £20 to help raise funds for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Raffles tickets will be sold on the day at £5 per strip, 5 strips for £20. All proceeds of the raffle will go directly to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. The raffle draw will be made at 4pm on each day of the festival.
If you want to find out more about Shooting Star Children’s Hospices or want to make a donation, please visit the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices stand at the festival, where all raffle prizes will also be on display.
Shooting Star Children's Hospice cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
They support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. It costs £10 million a year just to maintain their current level of care and only 10% of that income comes from government funding, so they rely on their supporters’ generosity to keep the service running.
