The Surrey Food Festival 2018 - 21st April 2018 - Old Deer Park 10am - 7pm

Every year The Surrey Food Festival selects a charity to receive a donation

The 2017 festival will be supporting Pathways Through Dementia - a local charity founded by Sara Wilcox.

Chosen Charity

Each food/drink and market stall trader at the 2017 Surrey Food Festival will be kindly donating a raffle prize with a value of over £20 to help raise funds for Pathways Through Dementia. Raffles tickets will be sold on the day at £5 per strip, 5 strips for £20. All proceeds of the raffle will go directly to Pathways Through Dementia. The raffle draw will be made at 4pm on the day of the festival.

If you want to find out more about Pathways Through Dementia or want to make a donation, please visit the Pathways Through Dementia stand at the festival, where all raffle prizes will also be on display.

Pathways Through Dementia helps people navigate legal and financial aspects of the dementia journey – their helpline operates flexible hours and supports people who are looking to draw up Lasting Powers of Attorney, apply for Deputyship, and/or who have queries around paying for care, welfare benefits, and relevant community care laws such as the Mental Capacity Act, and the Care Act.

They also provide talks and training to a wide range of audiences including the Alzheimer’s Society, Admiral Nurses, and Young Dementia UK.
